Launched in 2002, the Workplace Partnership For Life brings an all-inclusive, pro-donation message to the workplace. Partners, which range from corporations to associations to small businesses, are encouraged to educate their employees about organ, tissue, blood and bone marrow donation. Hundreds of companies and organizations throughout Florida actively participate as Workplace Partners, educating thousands of employees annually.

Florida Coalition on Donation, the United States Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), and the transplant community as a whole share a common goal – to spread the word about the importance of organ and tissue donation until we live in a “donation friendly America.” In order to reach this goal, HHS developed a program, the Workplace Partnership For Life, encouraging employers to provide their staff with donation related education. To become a Workplace Partner is simple:

1. Sign up with your commitment to provide your employees information about organ and tissue donation
2. Share with each employee donation related education of some sort. This could be as simple as utilizing a paycheck stuffer, sending around an email newsletter, or inviting a speaker to your next staff meeting. We will be happy to help!

As a result of becoming a workplace partner you will not only be recognized by FCOD, but you will provide your employees with valuable information, and your community with a valuable resource – individuals who may decide to give the Gift of Life to others in need. Who knows how many lives can be saved if even a few organizations help us to spread this message. Furthermore, becoming a Workplace Partner is completely free…the only cost is a little love!
